Transferring an existing domain

If you have a domain registered with another registrar that you wish to move to your Hostkey server, please contact our billing team at bill@hostkey.com from your registered e-mail address to have us create an Invoice for the transfer. The transfer price is calculated based on your domain - https://www.hostkey.com/web/domains
You can add WHOIS privacy protection to your request, with an annual price of €4 per domain.

Our billing team will ask you to provide your domain name and make sure that the domain is unblocked and that your administrative contact e-mail address is up-to-date.
You will also need to request your domain transfer authorization code from your current registrar and provide the code to our billing team via the same support ticket.

We will begin the transfer process once the invoice has been paid, it can take up to 5 days to complete the transfer.
If you receive any emails from your current registrar with transfer confirmation requests - please proceed with the confirmation.

Ordering a new domain

If you would like to make use of our name servers, you need to get DNS-hosting with us. This option is available when you are ordering a domain.

All of your available domains are listed in your Billing area, click Services > My domains to view them.

To see the details and edit your domain click the "wrench" button on the right. Click Manage DNS in MANAGE section in the right part of the screen.

To set-up your DNS fill-in the following fields:

Name - your domain name.
Type - A/NS record type.
TTL - Time To Live, for "long" 24 hours record insert 86400 in the field.
RData - for "A" record use your server's IP. For name servers insert our dns-servers:

ns1.hostbuy.com (5.39.219.205)

ns2.hostbuy.com (158.255.0.76)
